Is Your Child’s Halloween Costume Safe?

Before your little one heads out for Halloween fun, make sure that their costume is safe. Here are a few tips from Gina Veres, injury prevention specialist at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

Make sure that your child’s costume:

  • is bright enough to be visible in the evening.
  • fits correctly, to reduce the risk of falling and other injuries.
  • does not include a mask so that they can better see their surroundings.
  • is flame resistant.
