Jeanne Heinz-Tomasi, RN, believes that she was in the right place at the right time. While stuck in a traffic jam, the ProMedica Toledo Hospital nurse noticed a small child on the ground who had been injured in a car accident.
When she arrived at the little girl’s side, she was stunned to learn that none of the bystanders knew CPR. Fortunately, Heinz-Tomasi did. She immediately performed CPR, saving the girl’s life.
ProMedica HealthConnect Correspondent Chrys Peterson talks with Heinz-Tomasi about how this day changed her life why everyone should know how to perform this life-saving skill. (Don’t know CPR? Check out 5 Steps for Performing CPR.)
