Water has many benefits. It helps balance our body’s fluids, keeps skin clear, helps control calories, maintains healthy digestion and energizes muscles. Adding fruits, vegetables and herbs to water can add natural flavor “without excess sugar or sugar substitutes,” says Kinsy McNamee, ProMedica Wellness dietitian.
Don’t stop when the water’s gone. “Eat the fruit when you are done with your water to really give you some good nutrient power!” recommends McNamee.
