Tandoori is an Indian method of cooking meat or vegetables in a cylindrical clay oven called a tandoor. With this particular recipe, a grill can be substituted to act as a tandoor.
Shrimp is a lean protein that is a good source of heart healthy omega-3 fatty acids as well as vitamin B12. This recipe is low in fat (7g) and calories (172). Plus, the combination of spices adds flavor without increasing the sodium, making it a healthy option for those with diabetes, heart disease or high blood pressure.
